Q: I love decorating my vases with beautiful flower arrangements during the spring and summer seasons, but I can't get my flowers to last past a day. Any tips to save my blooms and keep my flowers alive longer?

A: Using floral arrangements to decorate your home during the warmer months is a great way to add pops of color and bring nature into your home. However, we have also dealt with waking up to dead flowers, so you're not alone. 

We have two simple tricks that work: 

Tip 1:  The key is to keep your water fresh and clean on a daily basis. You can simply do this by adding 1/4 teaspoon of bleach to your water. 

Tip 2: At night, consider placing your flowers in the fridge to help keep the water cold. You'll be sure to have flowers that stay alive much longer!
